ATLANTA UNITED WIN HOME OPENER - SET MLS ATTENDANCE RECORD AGAIN
By Castrologist,
The Atlanta United took down DC United 3-1 yesterday in their home opener, evening up their overall record at 1-1-0, for a total of 3 points.
Atlanta also set an MLS league attendance record, with 72,035 people coming through the gates of Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
The squad looked totally different and amped up after the disappointing Week 1 loss at Houston.
Next up is Vancouver at home Saturday, March 17th. Keep it up, 5 Stripes! Bring the Cup to Atlanta!
